  HELP - Clear your Mind

Main Points

  • Take your time to figure out your purpose.
  • Do it in a nice and quiet place.
  • You can't fail at your purpose, so don't worry.
  • Help yourself first.
  • Find Win-Win situations; they're good for everybody.
  • It's never too late to start.
  • Choose one thing. You can always change it later.
  • You can do many things...but NOT at the same time.
  • Don't take it so seriously!

Common Problems

  1. Judgement “What if people don't like my purpose?” “What if it’s wrong?”
  2. Failure “I'm not good enough.” “I’m not like (my Idol)...”
  3. Modesty “I don't need much...” “I'm comfortable right here.”
  4. Martyrdom “It's okay, you can have it.” “Other people need it more.”
  5. Time “I don't have enough time.” “It's too late for me.”
  6. Indecision "I wanna do so much." "Maybe I'll do all of it!" "Can I pick multiple things?" "I can't choose…!" "I don't know which one to pick!"

"Forget purpose. It’s okay to be happy without one. The quest for a single purpose has ruined many lives.” - James Altucher
